Kingmaker: Danding Cojuangco backs NPC senators

Businessman Eduardo “Danding” Cojuangco had reportedly expressed support for some senators seeking reelection and other local posts in the upcoming elections.

Cojuangco, chairman emeritus of the Nationalist People’s Coalition, met with Senators Francis Escudero, JV Ejercito, Loren Legarda, Grace Poe, Sherwin Gatchlian, and former Senator Lito Lapid, at the party fellowship gathering at the Makati Diamond Residences ahead of the May polls.

“Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) Senators with Chairman Emeritus Danding Cojuangco in a dinner/meeting last night. Thank you for the support and extra push my party mates!” Ejercito captioned the photo with Cojuangco on Instagram.

Escudero, Ejercito, Legarda, Gatchalian and Lapid are NPC members while Poe is an adopted candidate of the party.
