Instead of conductor, G Liner bus uses an "honesty pay system" for their Honesty Bus which began its trial run last Sunday.
A fare matrix is attached to a window next to the door at the front of the bus, with an array of tickets and a drop box for the fares below it.
Each passenger will place their fare in the box and take the ticket or tickets corresponding to their fare amount.
The Honesty Bus's route goes from Taytay, Rizal to Quiapo, Manila, with fares ranging from P12 to P53.
The company said that it decided to try out a conductor-free bus as a cost-cutting measure.
The Honesty Bus will begin its regular run on Monday.
